The 3rd-5th grade golf class gives students the opportunity to develop their golf skills in a fun, supportive, and structured after-school environment. Designed for beginner to intermediate golfers, the program helps students build confidence, improve fundamentals, and develop a deeper understanding of the game.
Students rotate through a variety of golf stations and activities including driving, iron play, chipping, putting, golf games, simulated holes, and creative skill challenges. Each session is designed to maximize participation, with students spending more time practicing, playing, and applying their skills rather than waiting for turns.
Coaches provide instruction on key fundamentals including setup, grip, swing mechanics, ball striking, short game technique, and course strategy. Students also develop important golf habits such as focus, patience, decision-making, and sportsmanship.
The class combines technical instruction with fun, game-based experiences. Students may compete in putting challenges, play simulated holes, work through skill competitions, and practice real golf situations in a format that keeps them engaged and improving.
All equipment is provided, and the program is designed to work within a school setting using carefully selected equipment and station-based instruction. Whether students are new to golf or already developing their game, each session provides meaningful opportunities to improve skills, have fun, and build a lifelong connection to the sport.
Our experienced coaches, all background-checked through the State of Oregon and trained in our beginner-friendly curriculum, create a safe and positive atmosphere where kids develop confidence in their golf game. We work with the school secretary and your teachers on the transition from release to the start of our class and will wait until you or another approved adult picks up your child or transition them to after school care. We provide all necessary equipment, making it easy and convenient for parents.
